People Skills Chat Topic: Forget Envy, Try Empathy!
Nothing much of value comes from envy. Envy — the desire to have what others have or be who they are — leaves most people feeling empty. If you don’t value yourself and work toward your own goals, how can you have any joy or inner peace. Meanwhile, the time you spend envying others you are not spending on empathy. Empathy builds bonds that can help you and others. It can open up new doors and relationships that tap your true talents. Forget envy, try empathy.
Join us this Sunday Aug. 11th at 10am EDT in global #PeopleSkillsChat on Twitter, to explore how people can forget envy and try empathy! The hashtag is #PeopleSkillsChat.
