Here’s a time converter to assist all of you around the globe in converting 10am EDT to your local time.

People Skills Chat – Online Rally to End Bullying

Once each quarter we dedicate our #Peopleskills global Twitter chat hour to end bullying. My generous co-host for this rally is Andrea Sanchez @asanchez16, professional writer/editor and communications specialist, authentic Leadership Coach, Founder of #DareToBe Twitter Chat Tuesdays 8pmET.

In this online rally, we gather together from around the globe to speak out to prevent bullying. All bullying — workplace, schools, neighborhood, cyberbullying — is unacceptable. Please spread the word and invite others to join us on Twitter Sunday Oct. 16, 2016 10am ET using Hashtag: #PeopleSkills.

People Skills Twitter Chat to End Bullying

In this rally we will discuss how to end bullying with a special focus on peace without yielding to bully behaviors. JOIN us Oct. 16th 10amET/2pmGMT on Twitter in our online rally to end bullying. Hashtag: #PeopleSkills

Here are some questions to get us thinking in advance …

  • What is bullying in its full scope?
  • How do social values about aggression and peace breed or reduce bullying?
  • OPINION: Is bullying seen as a strength or a weakness? Has this view changed over the years? Pls. explain.
  • Peace making: Is it capitulation or something else?
  • What do peace makers do and how do they help reduce bullying if at all?
  • How do conflict and bullying differ?
  • What can we learn from this difference that would help teach others not to bully?
  • When is peace making an appropriate or inappropriate response to bullying?
  • How can leaders in business help eliminate bullying?
  • How can parents play a key role in preventing bullying?
  • What messages will we send bullies today? Let’s speak out now!
  • How can people skills make a big impact to end bullying? How?

Final versions of these questions will post live during the chat. If you cannot attend this Sunday Oct. 16th at 10am ET, please help us promote it on your social streams with hashtag #PeopleSkills. Many thanks!
