Replace Routine Slumps w/ These Essential Actions

We sometimes think that successful people don’t ever experience routine slumps in their attitude and actions. This isn’t true. They spot them sooner and take steps to
inspire themselves and move ahead again.

The Essential Questions They Ask Themselves

  • What am I not seeing that will make a difference?

  • Why am I spinning my wheels?

  • How am I letting comfort put me in routine slumps?


Replace Routine Slumps w/ These Actions!


  • Create a challenge to escape the slump. For example, what more exciting task will you when the boring task is done?

  • Be curious. Seek to learn! Replace the flat line with a learning curve. This essential step moves you forward.

  • Assess other parts of your life. Often when you are unhappy in your everyday life, you carry that slumped feeling to work. Replace the denial you are living about what you don’t like in your life, with true awareness. It gets you out of the slump.
